The idea
Every market on Runtil is a live price feed for a real asset. Your job is to read where the price is heading and back that view with a trade.
You’re never buying the asset itself. You’re taking a position on whether its price will reach a target you choose, within a window you choose.
Placing a trade
A trade comes together in a few steps:
- Choose an asset and watch its live price.
- Pick a target price above or below where the price is now.
- Choose how long the trade stays live.
- Review the cost and the profit condition, then confirm.
How it settles
While your trade is live, Runtil tracks the price against your target. If the price reaches your target before the window ends, the trade settles in your favor and the payout lands in your balance. If it doesn’t, the trade settles at a loss limited to what you paid. Either way, the outcome is final and recorded on-chain.
