The Partner tier

Partner is the top referral tier. It is different from Base and Scale in two ways:

• You earn 300% of the fee your referrals' trades would have generated — three times, not a share.
• People who create an account through your link after you are approved pay no trading fee at all.
• It is granted on application. No amount of volume turns it on by itself.

Open the referrals tab on your profile, go to settings, and use the Apply button in the Partner section. It opens an email to partners@runtil.com with your handle and your figures already filled in, and a short set of questions for you to answer.

We normally look for $1,000,000 of referred volume, but you can apply at any time and at any volume — we read every application. Tell us who your audience is and how you would promote Runtil; that matters more than the number.

Once you are a Partner, anyone who joins through your link from that point on trades without paying the variance fee. They see $0.00 where the fee would normally be. People who joined before you were approved keep paying the fee as usual — the waiver applies from your approval onwards, not backwards.

You are still paid on both. Because a fee-free trade generates no fee, the amount you earn on it comes from the fees other traders pay, not from that trade.

Partner can be withdrawn — for example if we see abuse — in which case you return to the tier your volume earns. Anyone who was already trading fee-free through your link keeps that unless we withdraw it from those accounts specifically.
